Salam Gorgeous is a female empowerment experience for all sisters who want to live their life large. We give every goal-driven girl the toolkit to reignite her mojo, rediscover her wildest dreams and reinvent her life
WHAT DO WE SELL?
We sell a range of products under one of these categories - beauty, vitality, serenity, positivity & productivity. In short, some of the key needs that help sisters with their empowerment journey. In due course of time, we would have more categories on our site that will cover other needs.
WHAT IS THE VISION BEHIND THE IDEA?
No sister should be feeling stuck, playing small and living a life of ‘shoulds.’ Instead, they must feel empowered to grab life by the horns and become the fearless woman they were always destined to be. We just hope to play a small role in this beautiful journey
HOW DO WE CURATE THE PRODUCTS?
We are proud to say that we leave no stone unturned to find the very best of halal. All our sellers have been chosen to very stringent standards that we have set for ourselves. So be reassured that we have ticked all the boxes.
ORDERING, SHIPPING AND RETURNS
HOW CAN I PAY FOR MY ORDER?We accept all major credit and debit cards including MasterCard, VISA, VISA Debit, VISA Electron, and Maestro. We do not currently accept American Express cards. Our payments are done via Stripe system which is one of the safest payment gate-way.
WHAT ARE THE CUT-OFF TIMES FOR THE ORDERS?
All orders placed before 12 Noon on a weekday are processed the same day. All orders received after this time will be processed the next day. Orders that are placed on a weekend will be processed on the first working day of the next week. So that would be on a Monday unless it is a bank holiday. Orders placed on any official holiday will be processed on the very first working day after the holiday.
WHAT IS THE DELIVERY TIME FOR UK ORDERS?
For mainland UK orders we only offer a 3-5 days delivery option. Please note that the cut-off time for all orders is 12 Noon. All orders placed after this time will be processed the next working day.
WHAT ARE THE SHIPPING COSTS FOR UK ORDERS?
For mainland UK orders we currently only offer a 3-5 day option and the cost is £3.75. Please note: all UK orders above £50 qualify for free delivery.
DO YOU DO INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY?
Apologies, currently we don't. But we have plans to do so very soon. So, please stay tuned.
CAN I RETURN MY PRODUCTS?
For health and hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns on our beauty products. For other items, we can offer refunds provided they are returned back to us in original condition within 14 days from the date of purchase. Please note none of the digital products can be returned.
DO YOUR PROVIDE A GIFT WRAPPING OPTION?
We currently don't offer this service as standard. Please email us your requirements & we will try our best to accommodate your request.

WHY IS THE RANGE LIMITED?
We hope to stock a wider range of products very soon. But we are surely working on sourcing high-quality products from more suppliers and very soon you will see this appear on the site.
WHY PRODUCTS APPEAR EXPENSIVE?
The products that we stock are some of the best products that you will find when it comes to ticking all boxes for halal ethos. This includes being natural, cruelty-free, fair trade and much more. And we choose to stock only the very best. So what you find is the finest halal luxury which comes with a higher cost. But we guarantee you will have a delightful experience every time you use them. Whenever possible we will try to source items that are not only high quality but cater to all price points.
DO YOUR EDIBLE PRODUCTS HAVE ANY ALLERGY RISK?
The edible products that we stock are some of the most delicious products that you will find in the market. We will aim to list all ingredients of our edible items on their respective product detail page. We advise you to extreme precaution in reading this list and ensuring they are safe for your consumption. If you are in doubt or any information is vague, please email us and we will try our best to clarify it for you. Please note, we will not be liable for any allergic reactions that may develop from consuming products from our food range
DO YOUR BEAUTY PRODUCTS HAVE ANY ALLERGY RISK?
Similar to our edible products, all the beauty products that we stock are some of the best halal products that you will find in the market. We will again aim to list all ingredients on their respective product detail page. We advise you to extreme precaution in reading this list and ensuring they are safe for your personal situation. If you are in doubt or any information is vague, please email us and we will try our best to clarify it for you. Please note, we will not be liable for any allergic or untoward reactions that you may develop from using our beauty product range
ARE YOUR BEAUTY PRODUCTS SAFE FOR PREGNANT WOMEN?
Though all our products have been chosen for the highest quality ingredients, we advise you to take extreme precaution in reading the list of ingredients and ensuring they are all safe for your personal situation. If in doubt please seek medical advice, before you use any of our products. The health & well-being of the developing baby is of paramount importance to us. And hence we can’t offer a blanket guarantee that all our products are safe. So please exercise extreme caution.
WHAT IF THE PRODUCT VARIES FROM THE ONE ON THE SITE?
Though we try our level best to show the products exactly as in real life, there is always a risk of it being different to what you see. This is especially true for colour and size differences. Please take this into account while ordering as it is hard for us to guarantee this. If the product is covered under our returns policy, we will be happy to refund you the money if we receive it within the specified timeframe.
WHAT IF I HAVENT RECEIVED MY ORDER?
Though we take utmost care to deliver to the address specified on the order, for reasons beyond our control shipments can go missing. For most of our shipments within UK we use tracking services and hence we can check to see its status. So if you have ordered from UK, please contact us and we can check this out for you. However, for UK orders(3-5 day option) and international orders, we currently do not have a tracking system in place. We, however guarantee that even for these orders we use reputed couriers and hence it is very rare for items to go missing. But worst case scenario if it still happens, please contact us and we will see what best we can do.
IS SHOPPING ON YOUR SITE SAFE?
We use one of the most robust ecommerce platforms (Shopify) to power our site. And they have all the stringent security systems in place. So be assured that all your confidential financial and personal info is very safely handled. This is our utmost priority and we will continue to add extra levels of security all the time so that it is very safe for you to shop on our site
CAN I PROVIDE SUGGESTIONS AND COMMENTS?
Comments, criticism or compliments, we are all ears. Please shoot us an email and we will definitely take them on board. And if your comment happens to be a suggestion we will also keep you updated on what we have done to make things better.
ARE ALL THE PRODUCTS CERTIFIED HALAL?
Though we try our best to stock certified halal products, not all of them are so. But one thing we can guarantee you is that we literally subject every company and their products to extreme scrutiny before we stock them on our site. We put on our magnifying glass to personally check each and every one of the ingredient before we accept them on board. And to be honest, but for the fact that certification processes are very elaborate and highly expensive, many of the companies that we work with will have them. So we feel it is unfair to turn down good, ethical companies just because they are not certified halal. Hopefully, in future as certification process becomes easier, we expect more of the companies that we work with to apply for certification and obtain them very easily. Until then, just trust us, we won't let you down
SOME BEAUTY PRODUCTS HAVE ALCOHOL BASED INGREDIENTS- ARE THESE HARAM?
Alcohol is not a single substance. It refers to a large group of chemical substances or ingredients with differing properties. The alcohol that we need to stay away from is Ethyl Alcohol or Ethanol. And we have taken great care to ensure every one of our product is free of this Haram ingredient. Some other alcohols that you may come across in the ingredient list (such as Benzyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Stearyl Alcohol, Myristyl Alcohol and Cetyl Alcohol) are all considered as Halal. The just have the word Alcohol in their name which creates the confusion, but they do not in any way resemble the Ethanol in properties and hence they are all considered safe to use. So please do not worry if you come across these names. We have again checked each one of them before listing these products on our site. If you are still worried about any particular ingredient, please email us and we will do our best to clarify it for you.
